5 stars, why not. This place on Dixie south of the Snyder is pretty straightforward. They have cheeseburgers, fries and milk shakes. They also have a grilled cheese and a chicken sandwich on the menu along with hot dogs.
I suppose I could deduct a star because the building isn't terribly attractive. The carpet is a bit worn. I also don't like carpet in Restaurants. They don't have onion rings. None of that matters.
I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with a regular fries with Cajun spice. Service was super quick. My food came in a brown paper bag that was half full of fries. I had to root around for my burger. It was two ( I'm guessing) 5 oz patties with three slices of American cheese. It was greasy and juicy and wonderful. If I need a stent in the next 5 years, this burger will have had a lot to do with it.
Fries were hot and fresh. The order was so big I ended up throwing half of them away.
You need to wash your hands before and after eating here. This is not diet food of any kind.
I almost never find myself on this part of Dixie. I actually went just for this burger. If you are headed to Fort Knox it's south of the Snyder on the same side as Biff's guns and ammo store a little further south past the strip club and Biff's motel. -

Stopped here on my way to a winery event because wine + no food = bad news.
The parking lot leaves much to be desired. The building used to be an A&W and the drive in lanes are still there. Definitely could have used more parking the night we were there. Inside, it's relatively clean but the tables are a bit small. There was also what looked to be a buffet line that was closed off and a bit run down. It seems like this would be great space to expand the dining room or something.
I ordered the single cheeseburger with bacon and Cajun fries. I'm not a spicy food lover at all and made sure to question how much of kick the fries had because I know how I am. The burger was absolutely DELICIOUS! I would come back for the burger itself. The fries were too spicy for my liking. Even my friend who doesn't mind the kick didn't like them. Price was about $12 for a burger, fries and a regular drink.
I don't get out to Dixie Hwy very often but I would stop here again. I'd just be sure to get the regular fries next time! -

My family has been here on multiple occasions, and I've tried several menu items including the chili dog, cheeseburger, BLT,shakes and fries which are abundant. The service is always friendly, the food is cooked while you wait and the prices are very good.

Not the ranked amongst the best Burgers I've had but it was up there. Better than any fast food burger. A must try if you're into Burgers and looking to explore. Wasnt expecting as good as a Burger based on location but Bam. Great fries and shake as well!

This is the best burger joint in louisville! I had the double cheeseburger and it was huge, probably about 2-3 inches tall. The chilichesse fries were awesome. The price was very fair about $20 for two people. Staff was VERY friendly, I will never go anywhere else for a burger. Pictures dont even do its justice sorry.
